Preschool just came to a close for my daughter and I’m so grateful to her teachers. As a crafter I really wanted to make something to say thank you for their hard work but in the end we went practical with gift cards. Boring, I know! But we’re practical people.
To curb the crafting bug I started designing a card using this quote I found all over Pinterest, “It takes a big heart to help shape little minds.” The plan was to print and cut it out and tape to a 5×7 card. On the inside I was going to write, “I’m sure it also took a lot of coffee!” and tape the coffee gift card underneath.
Just as I was deciding what other background colors to add my daughter started showing interest in making and giving cards. So mommy’s card got put on the shelf and she gave these to her teachers instead. I wrote a short note inside and she signed her name.
I think her card is so cute and I’m glad she made them. And since I had already finished my version of thank you cards, I’m hopeful you can share them with someone you appreciate!
