Wow where did the week go?! Wednesday came and passed in a blink of an eye. Time sure does pass quickly when you’re not paying attention. Which is the perfect segway into this awesome treasury by fellow HandmadeMN team member SacredSuds. She’s a treasury curator extrodinare, always creating such wonderful collections.

Summer has just arrived but Autumn will be here before you know it! This treasury is dreaming of autumn in MN.

This weeks edition is for the men! (I know it’s a day late… ) Initially I began looking for items for my hubby but as I added items I realized it was more akin to my TV crush Neal Caffrey then my husband. I admit it,  I got a thing for White Collars Neal Caffrey and my husband doesn’t mind. Matt Bomer himself is easy on the eyes but I just love how he portrays Neal – charming, sexy and sophisticated and not to mention uber smart.

So Neal, these are for you. I imagine you have a gamer side hidden in there somewhere hence the Pac-Man napkin holder which you would probably use for mail because really, with all your riches you’re not going to get your own napkin.

The rainy weather we’ve been getting inspired this weeks theme!

Last night my mom arrived back home after a month long trip to Vietnam. Hearing her stories and seeing pictures made me want to jump on a plane for a vacation of my own. I would love to take these items with me on my next trip!

Looking at them now I noticed that I really love flower print fabrics.

Back in February my daughter discovered the world of coloring. She loves to scribble and if we’re not keeping a close eye on her she’ll move from the paper to the table and then the chair. She’s even gotten a few marks on her clothing and face! Luckily she hasn’t gotten to the walls yet. (Knock on wood!)

That said, this weeks favorites is for my Little Peanut who loves coloring.

The weather has been kind to us this past week and my mind has been on summer. Of course what is summer with out some parties?! These would make great party accessories.

There’s something sweet about seeing things wrapped up in a cute little cozy! Surprisingly there’s a cozy for just about anything. Here are some of my faves.

So I’m going to cheat* a little this week and post a treasury I’ve fallen in love with. This Summer Heat treasury was put together by KOBrienPhotography and features bright and bold colors of pink and orange.

When I saw it my first thought was, “wow this would make an awesome color palette for the Little Peanuts new bedroom!” I pictured her crib with the baby quilt, the sock monkey sitting atop her dresser next to the memory book/photo album and the pillows lined up on the daybed (that we don’t have yet but a girl can dream!)

*I’ve been ridiculous busy with a bathroom remodel and de-cluttering our condo. The whole process deserves it’s own post so stay tuned for before and after photos!

With a craft room/office in the horizon I’m already imagining myself at the sewing machine whipping up some adorable baby items for my Little Peanut. These are just a few of the amazing patterns I found!

Wow! Three of these patterns have already sold in between yesterday and today… yes it actually took me a day and a half to get this post up! It’s hard to work with little fingers tugging at my legs and saying “mama!”

I have never been successful in buying gifts for religious events in Catholic specialty stores, but I feel I hit the jackpot with this weeks favorites.
