Joining the tradition of some of my favorite bloggers!

{this moment} – A Friday ritual. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

We had a lot of fun picking photos for photo month. I had a good time strolling down memory lane looking at old photos from my travels to Mexico and Asia. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

A few summers ago we went to Thailand. Our tour took us to Bangkok and Pattaya. We visited a flower garden and I was awed by this rock sculpture fountain.

Such a little diva! I love how she’s looking over her shoulder and the tiny smirk.

This is one of my all time favorite photos. We were on a day trip to Yelapa, Mexico and were allowed time to wonder the beach and we came across this pile of rocks. What caught my eye was that someone had stacked up a few on the right. It only took seconds for me to pull out my camera and find the right angle. The boat in the back balances the stack of rocks perfectly.

This is the Minneapolis Light Rail. It was the middle of the afternoon and amazingly there was not a person in sight! I just love the way the the blue of the buildings are reflecting off the train.

Just a bike ride away from my house is the Guthrie Theatre. The bright bold color of the building really stands out against the green of the park and the blue sky. The clouds were a bonus!

I love a good sunset. This was taken in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

During my senior year of High School I had the opportunity to take a 3 week trip to France with my classmates and teacher. The experience was unforgettable and I’ve always wanted to return. Unfortunately the closest I’ve been able to get to Paris again is in Las Vegas!
